A New Showroom to Experience Prime Home Appliances The "sosū select showroom" has opened in Nonoichi City, Ishikawa Prefecture, where customers can see and touch Prime home appliances from Japan and abroad. Launched as a new business venture by Mitani Sangyo Constructions Co., Ltd., a Hokuriku-based company specializing in the sale, design, and installation of air conditioning and home appliances, the showroom was planned and directed by Kyohei Ayamura (And By Company). Under his direction, MiKS handled a range of areas, including art direction and graphic design, including the logo, as well as the formulation of design guidelines, which are the foundation of the brand, and the supervision of public relations print and web design. Based on the indigo blue of the Kaga Gosai (Five Colors of the Kaga dynasty), the showroom features the "√5" (root mean square), which constitutes the golden ratio, considered the most beautiful ratio in the world, subtly visualizing the aesthetic sense of the brand's Prime home appliances. The regulations define "existence" rather than "usage," verbalizing and visualizing the aesthetic that the sosū brand should express. The tone of the printed materials and web design developed based on the regulations was adjusted to visually reinforce the experiential value, ensuring that the showroom would function not simply as an exhibition space, but as a place to connect the brand and customers. The showroom brings together leading home appliances from Japan and abroad, including German brands DORNBRACHT and GROHE, available for the first time in the Hokuriku region; BAINCOUTURE, which offers custom-made bath spaces; and JAXSON, the global Japanese bathtub brand. The space is designed to allow visitors to experience products that previously required a trip to Tokyo or Europe, all from the comfort of their own home. The space is divided into a conceptual zone that showcases Prime Home Appliances' quiet presence, and a select zone where visitors can view and experience the main product lineup. It was designed as a showroom where visitors can complete everything from product selection to installation consultations and presentations to clients. Going forward, the sosū select showroom will continue to promote the appeal of beautiful equipment through study sessions, new product launches, networking events, and more. MiKS also hopes to support this journey with designs that connect space, experience, and visuals.
