The confectionery select shop Je prends ca has opened a store in the museum shop for the special exhibition "Chocolate: Named Supreme" at the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa, and is in charge of directing the shop section. The spatial composition was done by Kanazawa-based architect Toshiyuki Nakagawa. As Kanazawa is one of the cities with the highest chocolate consumption in Japan, the exhibition's theme is "Art x Chocolate," and the exhibit, created specifically for the exhibition by master pastry chef Stéphane Leroux, is sure to be a sight to behold. The museum shop run by Je prends ca sells chocolate-related items that are usually hard to find in Kanazawa, such as Dandelion from Kuramae, Tokyo, Kuon Chocolate from Kyoto, and incense specialist Tokyo Kodo. To coincide with the store's opening, Je prends ca has created three new original products for its private brand "je prends ca PREMIUM," featuring artwork by dyeing and decoration artist Yuri Minagawa. This project has brought to life the theme of "Chocolate x Art," which was the theme of the film Dull-Colored Chocolatville, directed by Kanamori Masaaki and released last month.
